Gameplay is based on swapping two adjacent elements to make a row or column or a group containing at least three elements. Each level has an objective such as collecting a certain number of elements (e.g. pears, flowers, apples, lemonade glasses, mystery sacks, berries, fishing buoys), uncovering garden gnomes, digging up emeralds, setting off firecrackers, finding rabbits or removing ivy, all done through different triple elimination mechanics.

 By completing the three levels of play, players earn stars and coins to complete tasks and complete the storyline by unlocking new areas.When players complete a mission, they can choose three different decorative items for specific parts of the garden.

Similar to previous titles,players also have the opportunity to make friends with in-game characters, follow them on the in-game social network and have an animated dog for company.After completing the final level, players can move on to the Golden Cup where they can climb the leaderboard to earn more prizes until the next set of levels come out. Generally speaking, 40 new levels are released every Thursday.
