How To Play

The game is turn-based Role-playing game, similar to Angry Birds Epic, but its combat incorporates the pinball elements of Angry Birds Action! , in the sense that players launch flying birds at several pigs on a rectangular battlefield, strategically bouncing off boundaries, obstacles, and enemies in order to inflict as much damage as possible and win. Each pig will attack after a certain number of rounds, while the birds will be able to use special moves determined by the color of their feathers, once their rage has built up after a series of rounds.

Defeating all pigs will result in victory, while allowing the pigs to deplete the health bar shared by the birds will result in defeat, unless the player decides to pay gems to replenish some health and move on.Winning a battle will grant the player rewards such as coins, evolution materials and eggs.

In most areas of the game world, eggs won from these battles will only produce a bird of a specific feather, depending on which area the battle takes place in (i.e. a battle won in the Yellow Desert will produce eggs of a yellow bird). Eggs can also be hatched in Bird City to get new characters, with the chance to collect characters from the Angry Birds movies, such as Red, Chuck, Bomb, Matilda, Terrence and the older Shirley, as well as the Eagle.

Birds can only be upgraded outside of combat, and birds that want to be upgraded will fuse with another discarded bird, and once they reach their level cap, players must spend evolution materials to "evolve" them, raising their level cap and generally increasing their power rating.

The game features a single-player campaign mode, in which players embark on a quest to stop pigs from endangering Angry Birds eggs as usual and foil the plans of the Bacon Corporation and its leader Don Bacon, and involves traversing multiple areas of the game world, each with different terrain. Most areas grant twice the damage to birds of a particular feather and cannot be played again for every battle won. However, after every few battles, players will not be able to advance further until two missions are completed by sending scouts to collect items or reveal battles that can be fought. Up to three scouts can be deployed at a time (unless clan scouts are activated), but players must wait one hour before using each scout again. It is also possible to participate in player-versus-player matches that take place in Oink-tagon or wherever a scout reveals such a battle. Two players take turns using their bird squads to ram pigs into their opponent's half of the arena so they can attack their squad, but can also beat the pigs to automatically damage their opponent or otherwise gain a small advantage over them. The player who depletes their opponent's health bar wins.

Players are ranked based on their performance in arena matches during the week-long season and are rewarded proportionally based on their performance. Since the Spring 2018 update, there may be new rules for each season that allow players who win with specific bird combinations to receive larger jumps in rankings and provide gains or nerfs to pigs and/or birds in the arena.Players can also join a clan to gain perks in battle. Perks are unlocked based on the level of the clan. Clan perks are Clan Gain: have clan health and clan smart bombs, Clan Eggs: gain extra eggs after winning battles (excluding PvP and PvE), Clan Trophy Boost: gain more trophies after winning PvP (excluding PvE after the 1.17 update), Clan Gold Boost: gain extra gold after winning battles, and Clan Scout: gain extra scouts and reduce the amount of time scouts are available again time. Clans can be upgraded by donating coins or by activating/increasing perk time. There are four types of clan members Member: no special privileges, Elder: ban members, invite new members, co-leader: same as leader but can't promote or demote leader, leader: edit clan details, promote and demote members, ban members, manage invitations, invite new members.

There are four types of tribes that anyone can join: open to anyone, invite only: must be invited to join, request only: must request and have accepted the request to join, closed: cannot join.Special events are available to all players for a limited time throughout the operation of the game, and new events are added after each subsequent update. Major events offer the opportunity to unlock Matilda and her anger management students, members of the Bird Rock Band, or a handful of newly introduced powerful birds.

In such events, players must collect special event currency throughout the game map, battles and bird towns to earn increasing prizes, while encouraging as many quality eggs to hatch as possible to increase the chances of obtaining a specific event bird, which will reset after he/she hatches. Other shorter events, such as Pirate Mayhem, allow players to race to win as much event currency as possible in a few days for useful rewards.
