In the game, the player controls a worm-like creature, finding and capturing various colored dots on the map to make it bigger, while destroying other players to get more dots and move towards the goal of becoming the biggest worm on the server. 

If the head of a player's worm touches another player's worm, the player will die. The player's corpse will turn into extra bright and large dots, the color of which corresponds to the color of the player's worm. 

When the player presses the left mouse button or the blank button, the worms move faster, but also make their bodies smaller and dots appear on the route the worms are moving through quickly. Fast movement helps to destroy other players. 

Another strategy to defeat other players is to circle around them until they get caught in the circle they have made with their bodies and can't escape, and finally run headlong into their bodies. The map has a border, and if the player hits the border he or she will simply disappear without leaving a dot. 

As of 2016, the largest worm on the server at the end of the day can send a "victory message" to the world
